A 29-year-old man has been charged after a man was stabbed on Stratford Road in Shirley.
West Midlands Police launched an investigation after the victim was attacked at around 4.20pm on Friday, September 12.
He suffered injuries which were not life-threatening.
Detectives carried out enquiries over the following days before arresting a man in connection with the incident.
Atif Shabbir, aged 29, has now been charged with wounding with intent, robbery, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, September 19, and was remanded in custody.
Police are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who may have witnessed what happened or has information which could assist the investigation.
