What events are on at the NEC this weekend?

There is plenty happening at the NEC this weekend, with a major night of boxing, a huge collectors fair and family entertainment among the events taking place.

The NEC campus will also welcome several trade shows, while Peppa Pig Space Adventure continues for families looking for something to do with younger children.

Here is what is happening across the weekend.

Queensberry boxing comes to Birmingham

Boxing fans have a big night ahead on Saturday 26 September as Queensberry Promotions brings its Homestretch show to bp pulse LIVE.

The main event sees Birmingham favourite Liam Davies take on Nathaniel Collins in a featherweight clash, with England facing Scotland in the headline bout. Davies is the European and WBO Intercontinental champion, while Collins is a former British, Commonwealth and WBC Silver champion.

There is plenty more on the card too, including Nathan Heaney's final fight against Gerome Warburton and Luke McCormack's British title fight against Kay Prospere.

Toy Collectors Fair

Sunday 27 September will see the Toy Collectors Fair take over Hall 18.

More than 500 stalls will be selling thousands of toys and collectables, covering everything from vintage toys and model cars to Lego, Star Wars, Pokémon cards, Scalextric, Funko POPs and model railways.

The fair runs from 10.30am until 3pm.

Tickets are £11 for adults, £10 for seniors and £2 for children, with visitors able to pay on the door rather than booking in advance. Parking is also free for Toy Fair visitors.

Peppa Pig Space Adventure

Families with younger children can also head to the Peppa Pig Space Adventure, which continues at the NEC throughout the weekend.

The experience takes children on an adventure with Peppa, George and their family, with hands-on play, storytelling and activities designed for younger visitors.

It is running at the NEC until 8 November 2026, so there is still plenty of time to visit.

BETA International

Sunday also marks the start of BETA International, a major trade show for the equine and country sectors.

The event runs from Sunday 27 to Monday 28 September in Hall 2, with products, businesses and industry professionals from across the equestrian and country sectors.

It is primarily a trade event, so it is aimed at retailers, buyers and professionals rather than being a general day out.

PATS Pet & Aquatics Trade Show

Another trade event begins on Sunday with the PATS Pet & Aquatics Trade Show.

Running from 27 to 29 September in Halls 3 and 3a, the event brings together businesses from the pet and aquatics industry, covering everything from pets and reptiles to exotics and aquatics.

Like BETA International, this is primarily aimed at people working in the industry.

A busy weekend at the NEC

With boxing on Saturday, the Toy Collectors Fair on Sunday and Peppa Pig running throughout the weekend, there are several options for people heading to the NEC.

The NEC's official events listings confirm Queensberry Promotions Boxing on 26 September, followed by BETA International, the Toy Collectors Fair and PATS on 27 September, alongside the ongoing Peppa Pig Space Adventure.

The NEC campus also includes bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham International Station and Resorts World, so visitors should check which part of the campus their event is taking place at before setting off.
