Solihull has welcomed a number of new restaurants and food venues in recent years, giving diners plenty of new places to try.
We've picked five of the newer names on the Solihull food scene and ranked them by their current Google ratings, with the number of reviews included so you can see how established each score is.
1. Beleza Rodizio
4.8 out of 5 from 708 reviews
Beleza Rodizio currently has one of the highest ratings of the newer restaurants on the list, scoring 4.8 out of 5 from 708 reviews.
The Brazilian restaurant on Mill Lane brought rodizio-style dining to Solihull, with diners served a selection of grilled meats alongside a range of sides.
With more than 700 reviews behind its 4.8 rating, it has a considerably larger review sample than some of the newer restaurants on the list.

2. Indico Touchwood
4.8 out of 5 from 215 reviews
Indico also has a 4.8 out of 5 rating, although its score comes from 215 reviews.
The Indian street food restaurant opened at Touchwood in June 2025 after moving from its previous location in Shirley.
Its menu includes Indian street food, curries, biryanis, small plates and vegetarian dishes, with the Touchwood restaurant giving diners a central Solihull option.
The 4.8 rating is particularly notable given that more than 200 customers have left reviews.

3. KIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar
4.6 out of 5 from 815 reviews
KIBOU has a 4.6 out of 5 rating from 815 reviews, making it the most-reviewed restaurant on this list.
The Japanese restaurant on Solihull High Street serves sushi, ramen, bao, katsu, tempura and Japanese-inspired drinks.
It opened in Solihull in April 2022, so it is older than the other recent arrivals featured here, but remains one of the newer additions compared with many established restaurants in the town centre.
Its 815 reviews give the 4.6 rating a much larger sample than some of the newer restaurants.
Where: 134 High Street, Solihull
4. Prezzo Italian Restaurant
4.6 out of 5 from 335 reviews
Prezzo is the newest restaurant on the list, having opened at Touchwood in July 2026.
It replaced the former Pizza Hut site at 46 Upper Jubilee Walk, bringing another Italian option to Solihull town centre.
Despite only opening recently, it has already collected 335 reviews and a 4.6 out of 5 rating.
The menu features pizzas, pasta, salads and desserts, making it a straightforward option for lunch, dinner or a family meal.
Where: 46 Upper Jubilee Walk, Touchwood
5. Ming Oriental
4.3 out of 5 from 13 reviews
Ming Oriental currently has a 4.3 out of 5 rating from 13 reviews.
That puts it below the other restaurants in terms of its current score, but there is an important caveat. The restaurant has only received 13 reviews so far, meaning the rating could change significantly as more customers visit and leave their opinions.
The early reviews are favourable, however, with the restaurant currently sitting above four stars.
Ming Oriental is based on Station Road and serves Chinese food.

Even more choice for Solihull diners
Solihull already has plenty of restaurants to choose from, with everything from independent favourites to familiar high street names. But with several newer arrivals adding even more variety, there are now even more reasons to try somewhere different the next time you eat out in the town.
